Live electronica: inSpiral

Here’s a little jam to see us through these times of austerity (in posts that is). It’s the first jam featuring the mighty Sequentix Cirklon on sequencing duties. I was a big fan of the P3, Cirklon’s predecessor and the transition between them has been easy. I’ll save the details for another post suffice to say that the Cirklon exceeded my expectations. Happy chap me!

Featuring:

Sequentix Cirklon
Elektron Octatrack
Dave Smith Tempest
Moog Little Phatty
Dave Smith Evolver
Kurzweil PC3
Eurorack Modular
Akai S5000 with Boxed Ear Mighty M5 samples
Eventide Space
Eventide TimeFactor

  1. Well, I usually don’t listen to guys playing theirs synths on youtube, but your stuff is really impressive. Extra kudos for the hat!

  2. Hi Rozzer, Can you please suggest some tracks that are inspirations for you and abit in the style of inspiral. It’s difficult to find slow bassey techno trance. please suggest your favourite tracks in this style in a moment’s thought?

    • Hi mutantvirus,

I think I was listening to a lot of Phaeleh when I wrote this (the rhythms sound like something he might do). I’m inspired by a lot of 90s electronica, acts like Boards of Canada, Aphex etc. I don’t really know of any music that sounds much like inSpiral. I hope that’s a good thing.

      Rozzer :)

  3. No videos ever since… what a shame! Come on, I memorized all your videos, you are a true inspiration, why no sound for so long? :)
